Day 32 to 35 - (2nd -5th April'10)
ZhongShan > Guangzhou > Stop by Shen Zhen > Back to HK
Got up @ 6.30am. Prepared & left home to withdraw money and to find a money changer. Roamed around Causeway Bay with my heavy bag and then took a tram down to Wan Chai station to meet Jack. Was kinda early, so went to have breakfast @ macs. met him around 9am. We took MTR to Tsim Sha Tsui to meet Coco. btw, Irene & lav didn't join us for this trip. Irene's bf came over to hk so she stayed in hk. as for lav, she was down wf rashes. :( so this trip is all abt me coco jack me coco jack. haha.
Reached TST @ around 9.30am. called coco.. realised that the meeting time was actually 10.30am. lol! opps. so jack & i went for coffee @ the Avenue of Stars. My first starbucks drink in hk :) chat chill while waiting for coco to come.
coco reached and we wanted to get the ferry tickets. But, we realised that this is not the right pier. lol! asked around & they gave us directions to the China ferry pier. heng its just one street down the road nia. lol. if not we'll miss the 11.30am ferry. And so.. when we reached the pier. guess what. tickets for zhuhai already sold out. lol! tickets were selling fast coz it's a 5 days holiday. good friday plus sat sun mon and tues is ching ming festival! lol our initial plan was to go to zhuhai walk walk see see first before heading to zhongshan to meet Coco's dad. but dang, no more tickets. :( Zhongshan also selling fast. we had to buy tickets from private peeps. lol!
ferry @ 1pm. 1 and half hrs to reach zhongshan. slept throughout. tiredz. reached zhongshan and we took a cab to bu xing jie. canto: "bo hang gai" to walk. nothing much to buy also. the entire street selling the same stuff -.- so just walk the first few can already. lol
had late lunch @ this restaurant. nobody de. lol

walked around and met up with Coco's dad for dinner. wf his boss i think. tried something that i havent eaten before. fish that is really 'tough'. the restaurant's signature dish. but jack thinks that it tasted like mud. lol! went to Coco's dad place to stay for the night. in fact, we stayed there for 2 nights.

Day 33 (april the 3rd!)

after lunch.. Coco's dad asked someone to send us to Sun Zhong Shan's Memorial Place. Zhongshan's main attraction. Zhongshan was named after him.

Day 34 (april the 4th)

k basically, we went to attractions. no shopping. just walk and walk and walk wf my super duper heavy backpack -.-
@ night.. didn't book hotel in advance. just went around to check out the cheapest hotels in an area. lol. i like this kind. naize. it cost RMB 218 per night. cheap cheap (: around 20 sing! heh heh. not bad eh. plusplus. the room is super big.

left Guangzhou in the evening. took a train to ShenZhen from Guangzhou Railway Station. supposed to take a train directly to HK. but there aren't trains going back. so we took to ShenZhen and den dinner @ Shenzhen. cleared custom there and took the MTR at Lou wu station back home.
left Guangzhou @ 7pm. reached home (hk) around 12.30am. lol

tiring trip. although no shopping at all. but it was quite a good one. i think i only spent like a hundred dollars sing. haha. must really thank Coco's dad la. we stayed at his place for 2nights so no need for hotels. and i learnt alot abt Sun Zhong Shan after this trip. lol!
