flight @ 4.30pm. met Rudihra & Irene at Budget Terminal. our family, friends, Mrs Sue Tan & another lecturer came to send us off. all ready to leave for HK! thanks yijin, tt, zijian & khi! for coming! haha! sup sup khi! (Y) (Y) Checked in tgt. my baggage weighs 28kg. haha, heng i bought the 30kg baggage.
4hrs of plane ride & we reached Hong Kong International Airport! at around 8pm? oh, & we realised that Coco, an ODM intern is on the same flight as us! she flew there herself to meet her dad and will be staying wf her aunt for the next 6-7months. haha and so we took picca tgt! Anw, Rudihra arranged for her uncle's friend whose staying in hk to pick us up. coolios. he sent us to our hotel and treated us to dinner! outback steakhouse yo. His name is uncle edwin if i'm not wrong. He, his wife and their kids has been living in hk for 8years after migrating from Singapore. cool right.
we stayed at The Wesley Hotel for the time being as we have not found any apartments yet! Searched the web to get contacts in order to arrange appointments wf the owners to view the apartment/rooms.

Day 2 – 3rd March’10 Apartment Hunting
Next morning, we had breakfast at a 茶餐厅 opp our hotel. Lavinia, intern from ODM and her parents came to meet us @ the café. After which, we went to set up a HSBC account and all of us embarked on our ‘Apartment hunting’ journey. Walked like hell, visited places after places. Damn shag I swear. And I brought my lappy wf me so that I can search for contacts using wifi. Can you imagine.. I walked the entire day WF MY LAPPY. Crazy shit. Crazy
Viewed like 7-8 apartments/rooms? It was really scary. Room can be damn small. Its like you walk into the room, it’s the bed alr.. with no space to walk. Its like suffocating inside la! Zzz. Called & arranged an appointment wf a guy called Alan. He brought us to an apartment near causeway bay. That one’s not bad. Got a living room. The only bad thing is that, that apartment alr has one tenant. So if we were to move in, that means.. we won’t have the entire apartment to ourselves. So not very safe. We checked wf Alan that if he has another apartment like this for rent & told him that we want an entire apartment to ourselves. He said there is, but we will have to wait till tmr to view the apartment. (Y)
So, Irene, Rudihra, Lavinia, her parents & I has macs for dinner and went back to our hotels to rest and prepare for another tiring day tmr.

Day 3 – 4th March’10 (Found an Apartment!)
Requested to stay for another night coz we have not found an apartment yet. Irene, Rudihra, Lavinia’s parents & I went to meet Alan regarding the viewing of another apartment. Lavinia went to office for her job training. The apartment is @ Causeway Bay. Location is very good. Very convenient wf trams, buses, Final stop for the mini bus, close to Causeway Bay MTR, Times Square, Wanchai Fire Station (lol), supermarkets, 7-elevens, cinema near the apartment. On top of that, the apartment is totally new! They were still renovating it when we were viewing the apartment. Coolios. The place is very nice. We liked it from the moment we stepped into the apartment. Chio. The nicest that we have found alr. Take a look @ the photos below!
Signed the apartment contract in the afternoon and paid 2months deposit. Broke after paying that.

Day 4 - 5th March'10 (Shifting!)
Took a cab wf our luggages from Wesley Hotel to our new crib! woohoo! had lunch just below our apartment! nice! wanton mee! their wanton mee is not like singapore's = dry one. it's always wf soup here. after lunch, we three reported @ the office. boss wants orientation but we stayed till around 10pm in the office. -.- lavinia was nice enough to wait for us for 3 whole hrs. nice. four of us headed 'home' tgt. dabao-ed some siewmai from the supermarket and we had that and cup noodles for dinner.
& Lavinia's parents flew back to Singapore that evening.

My room-mate, IRENE! there are 3rooms in the apartment. so irene and i decided to share a room so that we pay lesser rent. haha, save save $$. we agreed to alternate between the bed and the mattress every two days. haha.
Day 5 - 6th March'10 (Office orientation day)
lunched wf irene @ a cafe just below our office. had pork baked rice. yum yum. nice nice. ended @ 10pm again -.- After 'work cum orientation', we met up wf Jack, another intern from ODM to go to Lan Kwai Fong @ Central. to chill lol. k so there's six of us in total. six interns in hk. 3 from ODM (Lavinia, Coco & Jack). another 3 from Brandista (Irene, Rudihra & I).

Clarin (dk if i spelt it correctly) came over to our place for a lil chat session. lol. chat chat :) she's an intern for ODM but has completed her intern here and will be going back tmr.
Day 6 - 7th March'10 (Woke up late!)
Planned to watch Alice in the Wonderland in the morning @ the cinema near our place, coz tics are cheaper in the morning. the cinema is like less than 3mins walk from our apartment. cool bo ^^ But we were too tired. and only got up at 1pm! LOL. got up feeling really hungry. we walked down the streets to look for something good to eat & we found ajisen! woo! and its cheaper than S'pore! heh heh.
after eating, which is around 3plus. godmom called to ask if i was ready to meet her @ times square (which is also near our apartment) ha. went to look for her wf lavinia. irene and rudihra went shopping @ central. i met her under the BIG SCREEN @ times square. Godmom, god-dad, uncle jack, aunt lydia, cousin cally and louisa. :) it feels so good to see them here :)
lavinia and i den brought them to our apartment to have a look. comments about the apartment were (Y) nice (: next up, dinner near our place. & we brought them to Wanchai's Computer Centre coz uncle jack wants to get some stuff and we recommended that place. The two guys (god-dad & uncle jack) went into the centre while the ladies went to walk along the streets. Went for dessert tgt as well. Mango!
Coco & Jack came over to the dessert store to meet Lavinia & i. After dessert, bid goodbye to my relatives :( it really feels good to see them here. anw, we headed to jack's place to take a look at the room he rented. and back to times square to meet irene & rudihra. home.

anw, something happened on the 7th. and rudihra had to head back to singapore & will not be coming back to hk for internship.
Day 7 - 8th March'10 (First day of work!)
started work @ 9am. took a tram down. work blah blah blah. since its rudihra's last day in hk, we decided to take the ferry from wanchai ferry pier to tsim sha tsui intending to watch the Symphony of Lights. BUT we didn't get there on time. lol missed the show by 15mins.
walked around T.S.T instead & took a MTR back to Causeway Bay. We had dinner @ some steamboat restaurant near our place. 久久一次 eat good de (:
Back home & Rudihra booked her flight back and packed.

Day 8 - 9th March'10 (Second Day!)
Rudihira flew back to Singapore. So the apartment is only left with Irene, Lavinia & i. Lunch with Lavinia, Coco & Jack @ Macs. weather was friggin' cold cold cold! like 8 degrees?! Ended work @ 7plus. Dinner @ some cheap cheap wanton mee shop near Jack's place. HKD12 nia! supermarket to get necessities after that!
Alrights, shall stop here for now. its like 4.30am alr. am gna watch Alice in the Wonderland tmr wf irene & lavinia. bought the tics alr so die die tmr must wake up! haha!
