MY MOM'S & SERENE TOH'S BIG DAY!
dajie took leave on friday & we celebrated my mom's big day @ bugis chilli padi restaurant that serves Peranakan Food! my sis reserved a table beforehand & we had their lunch buffet! before lunch, my mom was working & after lunch, my mom had to return to work again -.- my dad, dajie & i went to help her out at her workplace. erjie couldn't make it for our afternoon event coz of work.
haha! me like!
mom's workplace till evening & we headed back home. dajie had to prepare & attend her friend's wedding @ Rasa Sentosa. sent my sis down to harbourfont & we met up wf erjie for dinner @ vivo city! we collected the movie tickets that erjie booked beforehand & settled our dinner @ The Asian Kitchen after walking several rounds around vivo. lol & ben & jerry's ice cream after dinner!
watched Surrogates. not a bad show i feel. timing was just right, movie ended & picked dajie after her friend's wedding. home around 12am. slept str8 after showering. tiredz

Dajie texted us this a week before: Mom 撒娇 say wna go watch the "concert" that love 97.2fm organized. and ask if we are free on that day. held @ the floating platform. we all agreed & so we went! btw, my mom is a HUGE FAN of love 97.2fm. lol The concert's called "The Great Singapore Sing-Along 滨海湾万人大家唱" which means, everybody sings tgt during the concert with appearance of some singers. most of the songs they sang are old songs. was kinda bored until they sang year 2000 songs. wf one Jay Chou song. lol! but nevermind, my mom like can alrdy.
oh yea, family + dom went tgt. home around 12am again. tiredz

got up around 10am & dad wanted to go to kusu island. its the first day of the "kusu island visiting cum praying period" so we went. erjie went m'sia wf dom's family so not wf us. Marina South for the ferry ride & saw sheng siong there. he's working part time there. just like last year, to kusu island, prayed, climbed the flight of steps, wrote wishes on the "yellow rock" and threw the stones wf our wishes up onto the trees.
i threw and it landed there. lol
had Char kway teow for lunch.
ferry back to Marina South around 4plus. & we went to Marina Barrage for a stroll & took piccas! Bedok to walk walk after that.
