Shouts: Advanced Diver!

Back from aur & i got my advanced license!
On friday evening, met kang, ellis & ben at clementi & headed down to tanjong pagar.
lots of people going for the trip.
weijie joined us, grabbed subway club & shared wf ellis on the bus.
abt 2-3hours of bus ride to mersing?
transferred to boat. was on a diiferent boat wf kang & the rest.
cos, openwater and rescue divers one boat, advanced & another grp one boat.
damn sad, 5hours of boat ride wf strangers. lol
but made nice friends. they approached me & chatted wf me. lol
our boat got bunk beds. ahah! slept from like 2am till 6am? reached aur in the morning.

had breakfast and went for the first dive.
Dive buddy: Daisy
first dive, peak buoyancy performance. gotta do pivoting and hovering.
i got probs wf pivoting and i dk why. lol!
next dive after lunch at around 2pm. navigation dive.
gotta do reciprocal dive (straight line navigation) & square navigation.
meaning, gotta use the compass to find our way. move in a square shape & return to the initial point where we started.
i did the navigation for the straight line & daisy did the square.
held on to each other for 10 kick cycles.
second dive was damn tiring. Daisy kept floating up to towards the surface.
i was finning & turned around to check if she's beside me, lol. she was above me.
went up to pull her down quite a no. of times. ahah.
saw stone fish! camouflage in the sand! :)

we stayed on the boat to wait for our third dive instead of going back to the island.
third dive, drift dive. just went wf the flow of the current.
nothing much during this dive. oh ya, i think it was this dive that i fell.
fell from the boat. like stupid only.
was doing a giant stride to enter the water. a guy held on to my tank to help relieve the weight of the tank.
wanted to jump alr, i think he was still holding on to my tank. i think i lost balance also.
fell, leg hit the boat, entered the water wf my head first. ps: i was carrying that fucking heavy tank. -.-
leg got a big orh cheh now. f-ing pain laaa.
can't even lie on my left now. :'(

fourth dive, wahahahahahha! THE NIGHT DIVE!
we stayed on the boat again to wait for our surface interval and did not go back to the island.
so, basically i did not see kang, ellis, ben & weijie for almost the entire day. Lol!
went down around 7plus at night, coolios. they provided torches for us.
cool like anything! its darkk but saw lotsa stuff!
saw a super big blue starfish which i dont usually see them during dives, lobsters, shrimps, crabs, big ass hermit crab..
there was a point of time where the intructor gave us the cue us all to off our torches.
meaning, darkness. hmm, but still can see a lil and we realised, night diving w/o torches ain't that dark after all.
like can roughly see someone in front of you. but cannot see fishes la.
instuctor stella told us to wave our hands after switching off our torch.
and guess what, we saw bio-luminous super tiny stuff. i dk wads is it called.
its green in color, super duper ultra small like sparks. damn cool
surfaced in like 30mins and ended our dives for the day.

back to island, showered, dinnered.
went to the room to play cards with ellis cos she didn't wna get thrown to the sea by the DMs & the guys.
she taught me how to play the game SPEED. damn fun! requires fast reaction, speed etc.
did some warm up rounds and she suggested forfeit. lol!
to slap ben. i was like omg! i must win this game, i dont wna slap ben!
so i chiong the game, and guess what? wahahah! i won! :)
phew, dont have to slap ben. ahahaha!
played another round, to pinch ben's face. but sadly, i lost this round. lol!
we went out to the dining area to do our forfeits. lol!

back to room again to continue the game.
forfeit: half a cup of alcohol.
lost, went out to do forfeit, sway sway, ellis and i kena thrown into the water!
i was like hugging, struggling and holding on tightly on the table when shafe carried me up.
ben went to 'unhook' my hands from the table. there, ellis & i had to shower again! GRRRRR
i only brought two sets of clothes this time round. nice one.

slept around 12plus. was darn tired
got up at 6plus in the morning for dive.
last dive, deep dive. we went up to 20plus 30m.
had to do maths question at that depth to check that we are still have a clear mind?
and not suffering from narcosis. lol
my question was: 6x5/2+15x1= ? i wrote 30
and while waiting for the rest to do the sums, i had this sudden thinking that that wasn't the answer.
i was thinking, is it, 6x5/15+15x1. lol! was damn scared that i will get it wrong. lol
but sweeee, correct. ahahah!
requested to learn how to deploy a DSMB.
and dive master eric taught me how to. :)

when we surfaced after the deep dive, we realised the weather changed. like speed of lightning. lol
rained and waves were damn strong. had to put on our mask & reg even when we were at the surface.
boat man threw a rope to us, for us to hold on to it cos current was damn strong and i prevents us from drifting away.
but but but, our rope ended up in the direction against the current.
meaning, the current was bringing us against the boat when its supposed to be the other direction.
got the feeling that we were almost 'sucked' under the boat.
i saw the propeller, even though it wasn't spinning.
but was damn scared to get 'sucked' under the boa. kept finning myself away from the boat. it was damn tiring i swear
waves were high, boat was shaking like nobody's business. i gotta the feeling that i almost puked. lol

back to island, showered, packed up, log dives, got temporary advanced card :)

haha, so this trip, i like rarely see them. LOL except for bus ride and sleeping time. ahaha
oh yea, a total of 8 advanced divers. all working, studying U etc.
5hours of boat ride back to mersing jetty. and i slept for 3hours. lol
played cards wf them on the boat.
3hours of bus ride to custom.
